1. My immediate response to this photo is that it a beautiful sight, in a plain lackluster environment. What i notice first is the thousands of tiny branches on the fiery background, and how they branch from a few big trunks.
2. In this picture is silouheted trees crawling up a dusky sky. The random branches of the tree are so plentiful it almost makes a solid in some places.
3. The only straight line in the photo is the top of a building at the very bottom of the photo. The sky turns from flaming orange to a cool lavender.
4. This photo can have many meanings behind it. The first being how such a great, beautiful sight can be caught in an environment that is plain, boring, and mundane. This picture relates to me in a way that how the branches look, and the trees. The branches are in a random assortment, going each and every direction they please. But they are also in a semi-organized fashion sprouting up through the ground and staying within a given distance of the original trunk.
5. In some of Edgar Degas's works i see a use of vivid color and dark lines. Also there is much expressionism in the way people are posed and shaped. The trees in my picture are posed in such a descriptive pose.
